Easter already - where has the time gone to ?

I don't know where the time is going to but I do know that I am not getting on here to post as often as I would like - really wish I could blog from work because then I could post during my lunch half hour and it would be over and done with !!!

Tonight I went to weigh (and lost 1.3kg for the week) taking my total loss to date to 10kg exactly !!! I was very pleased about this as it is the lowest I have been in I don't know how long. The last time I weighed this when I was going down was in November 2004 - not sure when I passed it going back up but the good thing is that I am now moving in the right direction. I just need to keep this happening.

Work is a drag - am busy looking for something to move to but there isn't much out there at the moment. K is settling in the new academy - it is such a change from what she was used to and it certainly a challenge but one which she has really embraced and taken on and seems to be doing very well with it. She was chosen as the science ambassador for UQ which made us all very proud - they had to write an essay on were chosen on the content of the essay - I think there were about 15 who applied. She has been selected for the South Coast U19 softball side again - thank goodness the tournament is on the Coast this year as I don't know where we would have found the money for her to travel anywhere else in the country.

My course is going really well - I had my first major assessment tonight and that went a lot better than I expected. I have my theory and prac exam on Wednesday night so hold thumbs that that goes as well as it did tonight.

We have all had the dreaded lurgy that has been going around - sore throats, coughing, wheezing (in A's case) and I, once again, lost my voice - for nearly 3 weeks !!!!!!!!!!!!! As usual, it is very frustrating - I even went for 6 days with absolutely no talking - only note writing - and still my voice didn't want to come back. I obviously have a weak spot in my voice box because most times if I get this type of virus, I lose my voice - I guess I should be happy that it was for only nearly 3 weeks and not any longer !!!!!!!!!!

Well, it is time I hit the shower and then bed. I am trying to get to read posts but haven't been commenting as our computer seems to have slowed right down and it takes so long to try to post a comment, invariably I get annoyed and shut down and move onto the next blog.
